Vivo V5 Plus limited edition, the smartphone that was launched just before the IPL2017 began. Vivo has launched the V5 Plus smartphone in Matte Black colour to celebrate ten years of Indian Premier League (IPL). It sports a new colour variant (Matte Black) and bears the IPL logo engraved on the rear panel.
The original Vivo V5 Plus smartphone was launched in India in January, and was priced at Rs. 27,980. On 10 April, Vivo made an announcement regarding its exclusive deal with flipkart for the sale of the special IPL edition V5 Plus. The newer V5 Plus features a new colour and a shiny golden IPL logo on back. Judging by the popularity of cricket and especially IPL T-20 cricket in the country, the new V5 Plus seems destined for huge sale online and at offline stores.
The Limited edition V5 plus model too features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla glass. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 operating system based on Android 6.0 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core CPU, 64GB of inbuilt storage, a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 3055 mAh battery. The Connectivity options in Vivo V5 Plus include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS connectivity options.The 20 MP and 8 MP dual lens front facing camera, with features like Sony IMX376 1/2.78 inch sensor, 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture, is still there for taking amazing selfies.
